Software for the execution of the pre-planned mission on the autonomous tractor unit
Mission Control
The Mission Control Module plays a central and decisive role in the robot software on the towing vehicle. It equips the field robot with the necessary capabilities to successfully carry out complex and demanding missions. It carries out the mission by reliably following the pre-planned route via control of the traction drive and steering. In parallel, it also takes over attachment control by setting working status and machine functions according to the pre-planned parameters so that the attachment works optimally. During the machining process, Mission Control handles bilateral communication with the Monitoring Hub for real-time monitoring. It can also be controlled remotely in case the operator wants to intervene.
Takes over the control of the autonomous traction unit including steering, traction drive and carrier functions as well as the control of the attachment with or without ISOBUS
Manages the import, processing and execution of a previously scheduled mission
Controls the travel of the pre-planned route by accessing the steering and traction drives
Controls machine functions such as linkage, PTO and ISOBUS attachment functions to ensure that the implement works optimally
Acts as an interface to FMIS for the exchange of work progress and process data
Coordinated with the Mission Planning and Implement Control solutions
Software
Import, processing and execution of a pre-planned mission
The software module acts as a central control unit for the mission tasks
The Mission Control Module performs the central tasks of the mission on the towing vehicle: It receives the pre-planned mission from a higher-level system, such as the Mission Planning Module from LACOS. It then processes it thoroughly and ensures that all parameters and instructions are interpreted correctly. It processes the mission by reliably driving the pre-planned route via the control of the traction drive and steering.
Implement control
The correct and highly precise work of the attachment is ensured
In parallel with the tractor control, the Mission Control module also takes over attachment control, setting working status and machine functions according to the pre-planned parameters so that the attachment works optimally.
Interface to management platform for exchange of process data
During the mission, the Mission Control Module remains in constant communication with the Monitoring Hub and other higher-level systems to provide status updates, send telemetry data and exchange relevant information. This enables those in charge to monitor the progress of the mission in real time, identify any challenges early on, and make adjustments as necessary.
