The flexible retrofit solution for almost any vehicle

The steering wheel motor controls the steering movements directly at the steering wheel and precisely implements the commands from the automatic steering system. As neither ‘Steer-Ready’ preparation nor any modification to the steering hydraulics is required, this variant is particularly suitable for older tractors, existing machinery and vehicles without an existing steering interface.

It is fitted directly to the steering wheel. The steering wheel motor therefore offers a relatively straightforward way of equipping vehicles from different manufacturers and of different model years with automatic lane guidance.

This solution is right for you if:

1. Your vehicle is not pre-fitted for an automatic steering system.
2. You do not wish to make any modifications to the vehicle’s hydraulics.
3. You wish to retrofit different or older machines.
4. You are looking for a flexible and cost-effective entry-level solution.

The seamlessly integrated solution for steer-ready vehicles

In a steer-ready vehicle, the necessary steering hydraulics and sensor systems are already fitted as standard. The automatic steering system transmits its steering commands directly to the vehicle’s existing steering system via the CAN bus. An additional steering wheel motor or a retrofitted hydraulic valve is therefore not required.

The existing vehicle technology is utilised to the full and the cab remains largely unchanged. There are no additional mechanical components on the steering wheel and no operating noise is generated by a steering wheel motor. The CAN bus solution is therefore the first choice if the vehicle is already suitably equipped.

This solution is right for you if:

1. Your vehicle is already ‘Steer-Ready’ or prepared for Autosteer.
2. The necessary steering hydraulics and sensors are in place.
3. You want integration that is as unobtrusive as possible and as close to the factory specification as possible.
4. You wish to utilise existing vehicle interfaces.

The fully integrated solution without a steering motor

If the vehicle is not ‘steer-ready’ but a steering motor is still not to be used, the steering system can be integrated directly into the hydraulic steering circuit. A proportional valve implements the steering commands and controls the vehicle directly via the existing steering hydraulics.

Steering movements take place without any additional mechanical components on the steering wheel. This keeps the driver’s workplace uncluttered and ensures quiet operation in the cab. As this variant requires modification to the hydraulic circuit, it is particularly suitable for vehicles that are to be permanently fitted with a professionally integrated automatic steering system.

This solution is right for you if:

1. Your vehicle is not ‘Steer-Ready’.
2. You do not wish to install a steering wheel motor in the cab.
3. The vehicle has hydraulic steering.
4. You prefer a permanently integrated solution.
